I will be happy to collect dues New Year's Day at the Post or any Sunday at breakfast.  Our unit has a goal to meet.  We welcome new potential members, so bring a friend to our functions- members can recruit new members.

Our Christmas "white towel" fundraiser for the Warrior Foundation was so overwhelming.  I was hoping for 150 towels for our wounded warriors at Balboa Med Hold.  Our final count was a whopping 311.  I want to thank all of you that donated, you know who you are and if I listed names, I would miss those that dropped towels off anonymously.  The towels were rolled and ribbon tied by many elves.  Thank you to my volunteers that showed up to do this.

2nd Vice President's Report -

Hope everyone had a Great Holiday Season. And now that it’s over it’s time to start thinking about all the Football Playoff Games.  Maybe we can get someone to step up and put on Chili and Hot dogs, or whatever else goes with Football.

I also want to Thank Everyone that helped me through the first six months of my tour.  This is January and the Auxiliary month again, so please be sure and come to support our dinners.

Shirley Reeves, 2nd Vice President

VA&R CHAIRMAN

Want to Thank Mac & Roxene for their ram-rodding of the Warrior Foundation function.  Post 416 & Auxiliary collected 300 white towels for the warriors.  We also went to Balboa Hospital and decorated the wards for 131 warriors (patients).  Different groups decorated the Army, Navy & Marine Trees, and then we decorated their wards.  They looked very festive.  Decorators were Julie Wogomon, Drew & Natalie Cottril, Kent & Melinda MacNeill, and last but not least Mac & Roxene McGrory.  And yours truly......
